The theme of the 10th anniversary of KYOTOGRAPHIE is “ONE”.
The expression of photography will give birth to yet another expression, a chain of expressions, and a persistent sound.

The performers will be invited to view the KYOTOGRAPHIE exhibitions and express themselves using the inspiration they have gained from them.

Yasuo Fukurozaka

Born in Sunagawa, Hokkaido in 1971, he left Kyoto at the age of 18 to study Noh theater and began his stage career in 1996. 2014 saw the release of his butoh work "The Decay of the Angel" (The Five Fates of Heaven and Earth). In 2014, he released a butoh piece, "Tenjin Gojyo" (The Five Elements of Heaven), in which he established a unique method of expression, "Ketsu Noh," using Noh masks of his own creation.
In August 2017, he was invited to participate in "A Choreographic Dialogue among East Asian Dancers" in Beijing. From September of the same year to March 2020, "Anti-Gravity Child: Hana no Kanbase" was performed every Saturday for a long run at the KYOTO Butoh Kan.

GODA Kikaku

A collective company and planning group led by contemporary dancers Yuki Goda and Kyoko Nomura. Both Goda and Nomura were principal dancers in the Kyoto-based dance company Monochrome Circus for about 10 years, gaining a great deal of stage experience in Japan and abroad, before becoming independent from the company in 2017. Since then, she has devoted herself to the activities of Gouda Kikaku, mainly organizing and performing in workshops, events, and performances.
Recent works include a collaborative dance with particle physicist Koji Hashimoto, directed by former Dumb Type member Eiichi Maeda.
Every day is a new beginning. The work received the Kyoto University President's Prize at the International Symposium on Art Science/Art Innovation Exhibition 2019. 2018 Artist-in-Residence at Kyoto Art Center in Cologne, Germany. 2021 Drag Queen Simone Miyuki. He directed "SYNTHESE- DRAG meets CONTEMPORARY-," a co-production with contemporary dancers. In November of the same year, he presented "OCTOPUS STORY," a multidisciplinary co-production with filmmaker Masashi Nagara and others in Taketa City, Oita Prefecture. In 2022, he received the Kyoto City Special Encouragement for Arts and Culture.

Masahiko Takeda

Musician and artist based in Kyoto.
Graduated from Doshisha University, Faculty of Commerce, and completed Central Saint Martins Couture Tailoring.
He creates ambient installation works as well as music for performing arts and traditional culture, and participates in art festivals, art projects, and musical events.
With musician Kazuomi Ejima (Kafuka), he runs Laatry, a media lab for creative experimentation based on the concept of "inheritance and harmony.
Focusing on sound production, Laatry's activities include sound design, installation exhibitions, scenography, product production, and website/application development, while dealing with a variety of media.

Masahiko Takeda

Sagar Patel

Born in Montreal, Kyoto-based digital artist.
He creates interactive installations, VR and real-time visuals. He has worked for Disney, Sony, Intel Studios, and others.
Focusing on audio-visual synesthesia and the fusion of nature, the digital world, and food, his work has been seen at SXSW, the Sundance Film Festival, and Times Square in New York City, among others.

Born on January 2, 1987. Type A, Capricorn, Year of the Tiger. Lives and works in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Street dance, contemporary, contact improv, butoh, tai chi, meditation, aikido, and a mix of various things he has learned. It's like a MIX JUICE!!

An art unit consisting of Fumi Takenouchi (dancer/artist) and Kazuhiro Onishi (artist), they started their activities in 2018 and will change their unit name to "a Kiriri b ," in 2022. While crossing their different areas of expertise, they perform expressive activities with diversity as they leap between various media such as body, material, space, sound, image, and data. Major works include "Next Intersection" (solo exhibition, Yōkai SOHO, Kyoto, 2018), an installation performance work that assembles a situation where the rhythm of body and sound come and go through objects, and an installation sound work that expresses a poetic landscape while reconstructing the stone pavement of the facade into an exhibition space. OTHER SIDES" (solo exhibition, Kyoto Artstay Nishijin Sutematsu, 2019).
