Climate Reality Project | In conversation with Kenji Kajiwara (Neal's Yard Remedies CEO)

Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore founded the Climate Reality Project to speak out against climate change. Kenji Kajiwara, President of Neal’s Yard Remedies, who has been appointed as one of the leaders, will deliver a seminar on global warming. This talk has been called “the most important seminar in the world,” and will include easy-to-understand lectures on issues such as plastics, oceans, food, health hazards, and carbon dioxide. This is an opportunity to learn how climate change is affecting our lives and how to solve the problem.

Kenji Kajiwara

Born in 1956, after graduating from college, Kenji worked for a publicly-traded company for one year and then for an imported furniture manufacturer for one year. Then, at the age of 24, he founded a company importing well-designed household goods from around the world.
In 1985, he launched "Neal's Yard Remedies" in Japan.
In 1996, he opened Japan's first directly-managed store in Ebisu, and the following year he opened the Natural Therapy Center. The ecological Omotesando Green Building was completed in 2003. A community garden with a partially greened rooftop opened in June 2021.
In 2019, he was appointed as a leader of the Climate Reality Project by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.
